MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILY AND SCIENCE GROUP WILL HOST A WORKSHOP ON DISASTER PREPAREDNESS FOR EAST MOUNTAIN BUSINESSES AND RESIDENCES
The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) and the Museum of the American Military Family will host a workshop on disaster preparedness and defensible space for residents and businesses in the East Mountain forested areas and those effected by the most recent Dog Head fire. A firefighter from the East Mountains Interagency Fire Protection Association will present on preparedness strategies and post-fire readiness. A UCS issue expert will present actions needed to prepare the state for a hotter, drier future.
