  1. Lorraine Pontell says:

I was a military brat. Dad was a civilian with the Air Force outside London (AFEX) and then a civilian (GS16) in Munich (EES) 1960’s and we lived in Perlacher Forst. I had my sweet 16 there… I am now 72 years old and I am finally going back to Munich and Perlacher Forst in 2 weeks. I dated Dave Baker – we went to see the musical Bye Bye Birdie at the family theatre on Feb. 11th 1963 – then he broke up with me walking home from the theatre.
